BACKGROUND

How did you get into your field?
I did not have the time to stay as active as I liked while in school and I felt the impact of that both physically and mentally. When I discovered Pilates I knew I found a sustainable practice for myself to prioritize my overall wellbeing.
What is your training background and how long have you practiced/taught?
I am an environmental scientist by day working on drinking water quality regulations to ensure the protection of public health and a Pilates instructor by night. I have been practicing Pilates for over 5 years and I wanted to help others fall in love with it. I am certified through Balanced Body and began my teaching journey in 2025.
Who influenced your career path (who have you enjoyed learning from, mentor, etc.)?
I have enjoyed learning Pilates from a variety of teachers all with different styles and approaches to the practice. This diverse influence has allowed me to have a holistic approach to my Pilates journey.
What makes you love your field?
I love prioritizing human health and well-being. Pilates allows me to help others feel good in their bodies and strive to be strong both mentally and physically.

INTERESTS/SPECIALITIES

What kind of clients do you love working with?
I love working with clients who are interested in improving their well-being!
What sets you apart?
I have a unique background since my academic training is not solely exercise science centered; however, I am committed to improving health and helping others be the best version of themselves.
What’s your mission?
My mission is to help you achieve your goals for a healthier lifestyle and to provide the support and guidance for you to not only achieve those goals, but sustain them.
What brings you joy? What do you do with your spare time?
In my spare time I love traveling, which is always accompanied by a hiking or scuba diving adventure. A fun travel fact is that I have visited 23 of the 63 National Parks and plan to visit all of them with at least 1 new park each year. When I’m not running around outside or swimming with the fish, I enjoy spending time with my family (fur baby included!) and reading a good book or cooking.
