BACKGROUND

How did you get into your field?

In 2009 I was working as a Health Coach at Mercy Healthplex and one day a member asked me to give her some exercises to do on vacation. A week later she came back and informed me of how the exercises helped her get through her trip with minimal amounts of pain and she was able to play with her grandkids. From then on I knew I wanted to make a positive impact on others’ lives through my gift.

What is your training background?

I started personal training at Mercy Healthplex and Explosion Fitness Solutions in 2011.
From there, I went on to work at Twin Lakes Assisted Living community in the wellness department working with the Physical Therapy team to coordinate workouts for residents.

Who influenced your career path (who have you enjoyed learning from, mentor, etc.)?

I’ve learned a lot from Mike Boyle and Jason Adams.

What makes you love your field?
